Chelsea Ann is an abstract painter living and creating in North Vancouver, BC. 

Chelsea Ann’s work is inspired by her faith, her surroundings, and the joy of creating. Her relationship with Jesus is the foundation of her life and her art, and she often paints by praying through scripture.  Chelsea Ann attempts to capture those contemplative experiences on a canvas by combining ideas of imperfect geometry, simple line, a muted colour palette, and faint washes of paint.

Chelsea Ann has always loved creating, she's grown up constantly trying new artistic hobbies and expanding her creative horizons.  Athletics (specifically basketball) have also been a big part of her life for a long time... and she loves to spend time outside in the North Shore Mountains or in the Ocean in Deep Cove.

Ultimately Chelsea Ann creates because she loves the feeling when a wet brush hits the dry canvas; when emotion and nothingness overwhelm her all at once.
